I'm not absolutely sure, but I think it's a good idea to put them at least a little water dish to this species, specially when they are juvenile, not like others like hairys.
Does a Parabuthus transvaalicus require a water dish? This is my 2nd desert scorp and the 1st i got was a Hottentotta hottentotta where in the "scorpion of the month" care sheet suggested setting up a water dish and im not sure if i should do the same for my P. trans. I dont know if this will make a difference but my P. trans is home bred in the tropics. Confirmation and any additional info would appreciated. Thanx

I didn't offer a water dish when I first started keeping them. But when I finally put one in there, they went after it pretty hard! They sat and drank for quite a while even though I would occasionally mist. So I offer a small dish of water now.
So they still get dehydrated with mistings and regular crix feeding. But wont i have molt problems if my humidity goes up because of the water dish?
No, not IMO. Dry sub and a water dish is the way to do it the way I see it.
