Phidippus octopunctatus is apparently the largest in north america, but I haven't seen any bigger species mentioned anywhere.

you can look that kind of thing up on Google, or, even better, within Arachnoboards (Search function).

P. octopunctatus get to about 1" legspan.

Didn't you say earlier you'd put in in a museum, but the museum burned down? It's terrible when such amazing proof like that is lost. Well, at least you had it..lol:wall:

I had a two foot P. audax, but I had to have it put down after it ate 5 small children and half the employees at Taco Bell. ;P
