B. Auratum - Liquid on Mouth

found my B. Auratum with a liquid ball on its mouth.. what could it be..??

is it throwing up blood?? I can't post pictures don't have my cam now.. it looks like water ball and it's holding on its mouth.. :confused:

I took this pic of my G. Rosea. Didn`t know what it was at first but I now guess it`s drooling!!!!!!



Anyone have any other ideas!

yeah.. that's exactly what it looks like..

not much worries now though.. i offered it food and grabbed it like any normal feeding day.. :D

Sometimes T's drool as they groom themselves. Or it may have taken a drink and just had a droplet left over. If its still eating and acting normal, I wouldn't fret.

My pulchra does that. It makes her look like an idiot. Not helped by the fact that she usually does it with her face in the corner of her tank and her butt in the air :rolleyes:

One idea I've heard is they drool venom to clean their fangs, a kind of disinfectant maybe?

Yes, my Grammostola aureostriatum does that sometimes, especially when she is a little agitated, like when we clean her cage and she has been moved. I figured it was like drooling venom.
