A.versi sling setup question

So I might be getting a 1"+ A.Versicolor and I have setup a small glad container (6" x 4") for it. The question is I know that they need good ventialtion and i have poke holes with a pin all around the container. But does it matter if i poke it from inside out or outside in as the holes seem kind of rough and I dunno if a small sling can hurt themselves from it. Thanks
