hope someone will help me out, how can i tell if my A. avicularia is in pre-molt condition. he's webbed in pretty much , so i can't get a good look at him. i haven't had him that long(3 weeks) and has never realy had that big an appetite. last two crix he didn't take.

Hi, I have two A versi's and it does sound like your A avic is in pre-molt. Classic behavior. It hasn't been too long it sounds like and with not eating, it is in readiness to "pop its top." It could take a while longer so just be sure to keep the humidity in the tank high and make sure there is no live food in there. Try to be patient and not to worry. I know, easy to say.
