Why do feeder crix smell worse when they die than normal, black field crickets? Are they enhanced to have more guts and all that great stuff?

I have had field crix before and they are fine with smell, but the feeders just smell awful when they die.

they smell when theyre not dead too!! lol nasty things get a colony or roaches much better and smell is non existant. i think it will be because the captive ones have been fed a less natural food and also they seem to be bigger bodied and so have more body to rot and smell than the smaller field crix.

crickets release a nasty gas when they die which causes other crickets to die as well.
