Hi, I am thinking about getting my spider holy grail: a big goliath birdeater. Could you guys please post some pics of your GB enclosures so I can get some ideas? Any other big high humidity species as well. THank you very much!

I keep my blondi on peat/vermiculite mix with a large half log for a hide and 2 water dishes. I also have 75% of the top covered to preserve humidity. Good luck!!

I HAD min in 20 gallon glass tanks with about 5"-6" peat vermiculit mix, very moist. Kept the temp at around 80F-83F. I made little peaks and valleys in the substrate to encourage burrowing (but they never had the chance) and had some silk plants for hiding in. A 4" wide water dish kept the humidity up, but ended up killing the male.

I have heard that high humidity AND good ventilation are a must for blondis. Guys, am I right or am I spreading misinformation:?
