Im sorry i couldnt get a pic, but hes at the bottom of the cage.

Anyway, my S. mortisans has been sitting at the bottom of his cage for a few hours, but his underside is a milky white. The reason I think he is not molting, is because lately, he has been eating and moving around a lot. He ate two huge crickets last night, but I feel that he has been fat lately, and ive been expecting a molt since i got him, for about a week.

Would it be okay to dig around and look at him? Or should I let him rest until I see that he is active? Does anybody have a pic of a molting pede that they could post? Thanks

I don't have a pic, sorry. You shouldn't tamper with him if it's coming up on a molt, or molting. You could damage him. They're very sensitive during a molt. Best to let him be for a few days or so until he's active. Keep an eye on him though. Let us know what happens.

Take care.
