Caterpillar ID Please

Each and every year here in Greenwood, IN these little fellas always show up in October and November. I say that because that when I notice them due to the large numbers.

I would love to find out what the are, I just call them Halloween Caterpillars. If better pictures are needed let me know.

ChaCha tried to tell me they where Acronicta dactylina but then again that was without a picture.

Yep, wooly bears. Frequently used for weather prediction based on the amount of brown or black on them in a particular year.

Yeah, wooly bear caterpillar, the larva form of Pyrrharctia isabella, Isabella tiger moth.

WOOLY BEARS!!!!!

man i used to keep these all the time when i was a kid they were so much fun!!
i have not seen one of those in 2 years.... they seem to be becoming less and less common.

me and my brother used to go walking along the road to find them. we would always see them running across the pavement.. i dont know why though
