Soaking the abdomen?

My big sericopelma rubronitens is in heavy pre-molt. She just came out of her hide and started soaking her abdomen in her water bowl. She has been doing this for 5-10 minutes.

Not too worried about it but why is she doing this?

maybe she just needed some moisture. mine does it on occasion and she hasn't molted yet.

Well mines bald abdomen is deadly dark. Shes going to molt any moment now. I just figured that she was getting ready to molt and getting her abdomen nice and wet would help her and thats why she is doing it?
