Well, I must be doing something right because after 4 weeks without eating, both my B. smithi and my A. moderatum molted on Friday and Saturday. Both look brighter and a bit bigger! My question is....I saw the B. smithi actually come out to drink from its water dish earlier this evening. The A. moderatum is in its burrow, but does move around in there. Since they are "out and about" is it ok to offer crickets by Thursday/Friday? Don't want to stress either out, but don't know how long to wait??? Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions!

It depends on the size of the T as to how long it takes them to rehab from a molt.

For slings, I usually wait 4-5 days and then toss in a cricket, if they are ready, they will eat, if not give them a couple more days.

For larger T's, I wait at least a week or more and then see if they will take food. I do this just to be safe, but it won't hurt the T to throw them food sooner, they just won't eat if they're not ready.

How large are your 2 T's?
