I am working my way through the picture thread here, it is extremely worthwhile to me to see all the different T homes people have created for their Ts: http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?t=48951

Some of the terrariums are planted and quite beautiful. Which Ts would do well in an environment that had enough light and moisture to support plants?

So could someone say more about this whole 'Ts don't like light' deal? Do Ts hide away during the day in nature?

They're nearly all nocturnal. They don't dig on the direct sunlight. Also, a lot of arboreals and jungley terrestrials live in heavily forested areas, in the tropical canopy or in otherwise shady areas so they may never come into contact with direct, bright sunlight in their life.

I make sure my T room is set up in such a way that they never get light directly on their cages. This can cause a greenhouse effect with glass tanks and cook your T a lot more quickly than you might expect.
