    Damon diadema

I was wondering if these are hard to keep alive? I have been doing research on them because I plan to get one or two of them and I keep coming across phrases like "I bought 3 a while ago and 2 of them are still alive". It got me kind of worried.

    Any input would be great,

    Thanks guys!

They are pretty easy to keep if setup properly. I give mine a piece of corkbark placed upright for climbing and I keep the enclosure moist (Not boggy) and well ventillated.

They are farely simple but compared to tarantulas they are difficult. Imported adults often kick over within a few months. Captive reared nymphs and adults rarely die (other than as a result of poor care). Adults can live well over five years but it is not that rare to encounter molting difficulties, which kills them.
