Hi everybody.
I have a couple of D.variegatus living together in the same terrarium.

Today I saw in the reverse of the female, and I discovered some espherical things, like eggs, but inside. Only you can see 8 or 9 balls. All internals.
What do you think?? :?
I tried to see some pictures about pregnants Damon, but I´can´t found.

Maybe I´ll try to take some pictures about my Damon. But I´ll prefer don´t disturb she. :embarrassed:

Damon variegatus has large pleural folds that cover all but the center of the egg sac membrane (nobody in the US has had variegatus, just mislabeled diadema). You would you see some eggs in a small 'window' in the center of the dorsal surface of the abdomen.

yep...thats her egg sac
it will hang from the bottom and fill up as the embryos develop
don't bug her too much or she'll eat it

It takes close to 4 months for them to hatch but they may have been there for weeks or months already. They're green for the first week or so.

That's not D. variegatus, if it were the sides of the abdomen would be covering all but the center of the sac.
