I keep several different communal scorpions. Several of my C gracilis are gravid and one has babies on her back. Should I leave her with the rest or remove her from the group. Right now I have 7 adults 3:4, in a 5 gallon tank. It has enough hides for each scorpion and I feed often. They are doing great. I'm worried about possible canibalism by the adults.

As I stated, I keep several species of communal scorpions and hope to get others. I know that genera will behave differently, but I would appreciate any addvice inculding from different genera.

Thanks John

I would recommend to definitely seperate her into her own enclosure, and after the babies fall off, put her back in the original communal setup. I don't think the adults will cannibalize, just so as long as there is enough food and hides. But the gravid scorp may be stressed with all the other scorpions, and result in eating her own brood.
