I spotted my little female Monocentropus balfouri the other day for the first time in a while. She finally came out of her burrow after she sealed herself in (premolt) for a few weeks. Here's a few "baby" pics from when I got her, and the last three are from the other day freshly after a molt. She's probably 3" maybe more now. The blue should keep coming in over the next few days...Just thought I'd share!!!

I have a male waiting in the wings for when everyone's girls mature. ;)

Of course, I'm slowing his growth down so the girls can all mature before he does.

Great pics!

I've got a local friend doing the same thing. It would be awesome if there was a sudden explosion of M. balfouri slings, that weren't 300-400 bucks a piece!

Thanks for the comments everybody!

She is gorgeous! I would love to get one. Hopefully, the price will come down on the slings soon.

Very nice female you got there.
I don't see the price coming down on these in along time. They don't lay very many eggs per sac.

From what I hear one would be lucky to get a viable sac in the first place...but maybe they will produce better over here :D
