Having recently paired my Psalmopoeus irminia I found this morning an egg sac now never having any luck what so ever with Psalmopoeus genus I was woundering if any one could offer advice gestation period temp etc.
I'm not sure of the gestation, etc. on this tarantula. I would suggest keeping her warm, though. Venezuela ranges from 75F to 91F (nighttime/daytime) so whatever you're comfortable with within that range. Gestation for many tarantulas is a couple/few months, although I've had some tarantulas stubbornly carry their eggs around for a year (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens).
You could leave her with the egg sack for about three to four weeks, then remove and incubate your self. irminnia has a tendency to eat the egg sack fertile or infertile so watch out, Jaimie p.s. do you still have the male I could sure use one:}
