I've been involved in conversations on AB about candles safety and found this this morning. mmmm benzene. BTW, The last part of that is badly written, it's basically saying that soybean or beeswax candles will be labeled as soybean or beeswax, whereas paraffin candles will not always say paraffin. So if your candle doesn't say, it's parafffin. Just thought ya'll might like to know. Heck, for your own well being too. ;)

"They found that paraffin-based candles -- the most popular kind -- emitted toxic chemicals like toluene and benzene. Soybean candles did not, according to the study, which was presented this week at the American Chemical Society meeting in Washington, D.C. Candles made of beeswax or soybean tend to make mention of that ingredient on their label; paraffin candles may not."

Now we all know, that sitting in a room with a candle isn't going to kill anyone. But it's just more chemical exposure, piled on more chemical exposure, etc.

Just found this in huffpo today talking about atrazine the herbicide. Nice short video about it. These chemicals haven't been tested on us combined. (if they have at all)
