I just ordered a 3 cm Singapore blue and 3 cm Malaysian Earth Tiger. 3 cm is about 1.2 inches. My question is this, should I put them in Kritter Keepers or should I put them into the 11 cm by 6.5 cm by 6.5 cm cubes ( 4.3 inches by 2.6 inches by 2.6 inches) that I use for slings?

Any size that seems like it won't be able to squeeze out of the many open areas of the loose-fitting covers is my gauge.

I would put a large-bodied terrestrial species in a small KK at that size, but YMMV.

So then the major concerns are about escape through vents rather than finding food or humidity.

Good call on the cubes

Good call on the cubes. One inch slings are certainly smaller than I anticipated they would be. They would have easily escaped from a kritter keeper. The cubes I have are perfect. Here you can see pics of the cubes I keep my slings in.
From left to right:
Holothele Incei 1.5 cm
Cyriopagopus Schoedtei 3 cm
Lampropelma Violaceopes 3 cm
Pterinochilus Chordatus 3.5 cm

Thanks again.
