Hello all.

I found this small pool (Aproximately ½ a tea'spoon)
of TeaColored Liquid in my Avicularia Avicularia's
nest ... the liquid was right in front of her mouth
where she was Resting ... however she was not
resting in the Liquid.

Opened up her lair a bit to check her out and
Reflexes and Responce seemed ok.
She was not amused by my intrusion and slapped me
around a bit .. wich is more or less normal.

Fed her a Cricket yesterday ... Everything else
seem's normal ... just this Liquid pool that has
me wondering a bit ...

Anyone else encountered a similar scenario ?

Hey there,

I wouldn't worry about it... My Holothele Inceis are always doing the same thing. I find little "tea coloured" dropplets here and there on their webb matts. I believe that the t's "regurgitate" any extra liquid in they body they don't need (from food they eat mostly). I have also noticed such behaviour in stick insects, although I can't confirm that's the same scenerio.

a bit of a search on the Topic but
found no post's quite matching.
Only 1 or 2 Regarding Clear Liquid
and a lot more regarding nematodes
and what not.
