Lasiodora Parahybana help

Just got my LP yesterday - awesome spider! It is about 3". When it first got in its new enclosure it explored every inch of it. I introduced a cricket but it did not seem interested. Then last night it began to borrow (I use eco-earth coconut fiber as substrate) and it has not been seen since. Could it be molting? Will I be able to tell it has molted? Is burrowing like this common for LP's. What should I do if it does not come out soon? :?:?:? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If it molts, you ll definitely notice the difference. But its probably just settling in its new home.
If it doesnt come out soon - then wait some more Dont disturb it.
Just be sure it has dish full of water, and offer food in a few days.

Leave it alone. An unseen spider is a happy spider. Additionally, the above is correct. It is simply settling in. Do NOT bother your new spider. It will come out in due time. Allow it to do what spiders do.

I have 2 LPs that are about 4". They used to burrow a lot when they were smaller. After their last molt, one stays in its cave and webbed a ton while the other hardly webs but is always out.

Each T is different. Don't worry about it. Give it a cricket in a couple days.
