Woodlouse spider

Does anyone know where I could find one, i have read that they cocoon themselves in in the day, i have searched in my garden but im unable to find one :(


p.s i live in the UK

over in the states I find them under debris, in houses, buildings, city , country side, and gardens too - in other words , just about any habitat. i have no idea what species you have in england. they can be locally abundant or absent. once you find one, you'll likely find more. good luck hunting.

under rocks, or old rotting boards.

look for a little cotton-ball like cocoon.

Thx for info, still yet to find one!
It took me awhile before I started finding them with any regularity. Just keep flipping rocks and logs until you find them!

If there are woodlice, they will be around. Night time might be your best bet.

I was looking for wolf spiders this morning and ended up finding 3 woodlouse spiders. Go to the nearest woods and start flipping rocks and logs, but try to leave them how you found them.;)
