Greetings All,

My wife was greeted this morning in the bathroom by this spider. It is unknown to us what species of spider it is. We live in lower British Columbia, Canada.
Anyone here that could help me identify this spider?

Thanks,
Andrew

Ahh, yep! Tegenaria.

Hopefully T. gigantea, because they are the coolest.

Like the motorcyles of the spider world...fast and furious!

(but harmless!)

We have practically whole colonies in my backyard...

I have the same one in a deli-cup. I've just been assuming it's tegenaria duellica

Looks like a T. gigantea / duellica to me. (they are believed to be in synonymy. )
