I have what i think is an S.heros, (pasted picture) and for the first 5 days i had it it has been acting like i assumed it would, you know hide alot, but tonight its been frantically circling its enclosure and running up the sides. the pede is just over an inch and i care for it fallowing this guide http://www.petbugs.com/caresheets/S-heros.html

so is this S h.arizonensis? and what is causing the frantic behavior?

my S. heros Castanieceps do that when they are hungry. One just did
it about 2 hours ago and I gave him a disabled 3/8" cricket. Heros
are very animated. They act like that as adults too.My pedelings are
1 1/2". Try feeding it:} I also mist 1/3 of the inside of the deli cup and
the inside of the top of the cup(so it evaporates and also drips down) daily.

Awesome, it could be getting dehydrated, they will drink water. I'd give a quick spray on the side of the container so it can drink up some droplets. Then you need to mail it to me:rolleyes:.
