So I just got a 1" L. parahybana sling, and as I've never taken care of a sling before, I have some questions.

- Should small crickets be okay for feeding?

- How can I put in a water dish that it won't drown in?

Any help you guys can be would be greatly appreciated. I hope everyone (in the US) is having a nice holiday.

to quickly answer your questions, ime LP slings will normally take down crickets nearly their size or smaller. mine has a massive appetite, and from what i've heard that's fairly common. i still crush the crickets heads at that size though.

also, no water dish until over 2". just keep a corner of the enclosure's substrate damp by misting/spraying.

they are fairly hardy slings, i wouldn't worry too much. and enjoy watching them grow! the growth between moults with them is crazy!
