In the past 24 hours, my Pandinus cavimanus (female) has been out and about, wandering her cage. She seems very restless for this specie, as this is the first time I have seen her vernture from her burrow, ever. I have observed similar behavior in my H. longimanus, shortly before giving birth. My P. cavimanus is not swollen to maximum capacity, but she is fat none the less. To anyone who has had some good experience with this species, does this seem like pregnant individual? From what I recall, P. cavimanus tend to have fairly small broods, so the lack of extreme swelling still shouldn't deter me from believe that she might be gravid.
