I got some pictures from the san francisco zoo a while back. Anyone have an idea as to what this species is? I also have a picture of it compared to a probably heterometrus spp. Any idea as to what this monster is?

Probably Acanthophrynus coronatus.

Why don't they bring these over the border instead of drugs? Oh yeah, ...low demand. But it is kind of weird anyway that these are hard to find in the US and read they are common in parts of Mexico, in caves anyway, still seems like somebody would have some here in the US though.
