    Gromphadorhina portentosa die off

Out of 50 or 60 adult and hundreds of young all but 10 to 20 of the adults are still alive. All the younger look great. Is this just that they all were born of the same generation or 2? It would be okay but I can't think of anything else.

I've found that out with my colony....a lot of adults seem to mature and die off at the same time. I periodically buy new roaches to add genetic diversity and stagger the different growth instars.

If my math is correct you've lost as few as 10 roaches in an unspecified period of time.

okay... I have only had to remove 4-5 adult bodies in the last year or two due to what appeared to be old age, in the last three weeks I have removed over 20 or more adult bodies, all of my under 2 inch ones look great and are acting normally, the adults who are left are sluggish moving much more slowly than they should be and seem uncoordinated or less so than usuall.
Is that more specific for you?
