A dark enclosure or a clear enclosure?

I just started nurturing T's just a couple of months ago. Is it true that it's much better if you keep your slings in a dark enclosure to allow them to grow faster? Please do provide your opinion.

All Ts prefer low light. I don't really think it has any affect on growth rates tho. They are also more active when it's dark. I prefer using clear so I can view them, plus it's easier to check on them without opening the containers all the time. I just keep them on a dark shelf. A red bulb is good for shedding some light without disturbing them. Ts won't be sensitive to the red light and it looks cool too.

I have three slings from the same batch- one in a white mealworm cup, one in a black sauce cup and they are growing the same rate.
The third sling is in a clear sauce cup and is the smallest.
in other words it doesn't matter. . .

I personally don't think they should be kept in total darkness. I put mine in clear enclosures with somewhere dark to hide.
