Hi,
I found this spider running across my bedroom floor today. I picked it up and i could feel it biting down hard on my fingernail, with quite suprising force for a spider of its size (it's about 10mm body length). In the picture it is feeding on a smallish waxworm. Does anyone have any idea what species it may be? I thought immediately it might be a wolf spider of some sort (lycosidae), but i can't find anything that matches. It also looks a bit like Pisaura mirabilis, but the colours are wrong. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Dan.
