Honestly I would release it. There's no need in you keeping it unless the toad is in bad condition.

Keeping toads is easy and there are a ton of really cool toads in Florida. You can keep most toads at room temp and on coco husk or peat moss. Give them a water dish that is large enough to soak in and feed them basically any sort of bug.

Whereabouts in Florida are you? If you live in the southern portion, you can get some Bufo marinus, which are very impressive and interesting creatures. And, it's a good idea to take those out of the ecosystem, for they are invasive. However, if it is healthy native species, then it would probably be best to release it. With that being said, SDtarantula basically said all you need. An appropriate sized tank, moist coco fiber or peat moss substrate, deep enough to submerge itself if it wants to, a water dish deep enough to soak in, but be able to get in and out without trouble, and a hide such as cork bark or a flower pot on its side. Feed it practically any appropriately-sized invertebrate, and, especially if it's a young individual, you might want to give it a dusting with calcium powder (but that's not 100% necessary). And that's about it; they are not hard to care for by any means.
