This little male was such a beast.. he gave me cold chillings when I had to deal with him. Look at him.. he wants to hug you! :D



Here is my female, she's very shy, but she's as calm as an emp, but I wouldn't risk handling her though!




By the way, I kept them together for over a month without any sign of aggression between them, they often "slept" together in the same burrow. The male was really aggressive, as soon as something was touching him, he was going in "stinger" mode and tried to sting everything that was in front of him.. even the glass of the tank! Anyways, it's just a fact proving, in my case, that A. australis are "fine" in a group of one m/f.

Nice pics!

I miss my australis! :( Mine was also very cranky, willing to sting everything within touching distance! :)
