I had been keeping a eye on my 2 inch blue fang, it had not ate for a week and thought it was in a molt, but today got concerned and opened its burrow to find it dead, it was not hard, nor did it look like it died in pre molt but the rump looked full of fluid and the rest of the body was in the up right postion and soft.
The temps and humidity was good and was on coconut substrate, kind of discourages my from those Ts that burrow because cant see them as often to know there ok ?
Your thoughts please ?

could be a lot of things. sometimes spiderlings just die, and we don't really know why. They have hundreds of babies so some just aren't going to make it. Sorry about your loss though, especially for such an awesome T.

I hear a lot about people having problems keeping Blue Fangs alive. I hope the one I have makes it.

A 2" blue fang could have just been a MM that went unnoticed, I lost one that way.
