Hello guys,

Cant find much info on the web regarding these... (No pun intended)
Just wondering if anyone knows their growth rate?
Are they hair kickers?
And does anybody know their temperament?

Thanks!

These have been available (shortly after having been discovered someone mysteriously had 3 females with sacs...) in Germany for a bit. From what I gathered, they are slow to medium growers, urticating hairs are a given since they're NW from Brazil and seem to be slightly skittish, yet otherwise mostly docile.

I got mine back in march as a sling, and it's only moulted once, so I haven't been able to tell yet on growth rate. Doesn't seem as quick a grower as some of the other new worlds I've got... But then again I know a lot of the new worlds are pretty slow growers. Didn't know if it was more likely to be similar to brachypelma... Or like the rocket ship grower Lasiodora.

brazilians are usually fast growers, the more t's go north and in drier areas, the slower they grow because of conditions

I have 8 bought as tiny 1/8th inch slings and now averaging about 2.5+ inches.
They have taken almost 3 years to get to this size so I would say that they are definitely growing on the slow side, about the same as most of my Brachypelma species.
