The snapper is cute!



I found one last year,in a tunnel about a foot across.The tunnel was a foot across.
The snapper is about 4" long. :)

BTW,You would not by any chance,know how to tell the sex of Common snappers would you?
I mean...Their tails are so long!

The plastron of a female is fairly flat, while that of a male is concave. Probably not very evident until it's a bit larger.

Nice! I've never been much of a turtle man, but I think I could easily become a turtle addict. I wouldn't mind a turtle for the pond someday. Neat little critters.

get something like a snapper or matamata GQ, that'll keep the pond clear :D

Thank you! I have been killing myself trying to find out how.All the books don`t really explain it. :mad:

I wouldn't mind at all. The familia might take it a bit hard though. :)

thanks for the tip on how to sex a snapper all i gotta do is wait till its bigger like spider said there aint much info out there on how to sex them
