i know rose hair tarantulas are terrestrial, but is that non-burrowing or do they burrow. mine has a cave-like rock for shelter right now. should i take that out and make the eco earth deeper so it can burrow?

No I would leave the hide in there...rosies "generally" dont burrow in the substrate...all it needs is a water dish a hide and dry substrate and some crickets once or twice a week...

One of my males digs trenches... not full-fledged burrow... he does indeed appreciate a hide though :)
