So my Lp sling molted about a week ago. Before he molted he was a tan color, and now he is a smokey gray/black color. I just fed him yesterday, and he ate for the first time since he molted. This morning though his abdomen seems to be turing back to the original tan color. It looks all tan except the patch were his U bristles are which is black like the rest of his body. Is this normal? also if anyone knows why is this?

Here are some pictures of him. Theyre blurry but you can see that his abdomen is getting larger and turning a light tan. Usually I would just think premolt but he just molted last Monday. Any thoughts?

The abdomen turns black and shiny when they're in premolt. If it's really black and shiny then they're in heavy premolt. So don't offer it food.

I know that but the abdomen was black, and is now turning light brown.

It's pretty cool when they go from dull gray to gray/black to full black and awesome pinky hairs, by that stage theyr around 5.5".
