That ship sailed a long time ago. I keep an Excel sheet, organized by subfamily, then genus, then species on the left, with column headings for each as to whether adult, subadult, juvenile, and sling. In each of those size/age categories, I have columns for male, female, & unknown.

Breeding is very important to me, and I need to know what's lined up and where I need to get more of certain sexes and/or sizes.

I've only been back in for 22 months. Priority #1: get things lined-up/paired-up so you can breed; then you have something to trade and sell, and your collection grows much faster.

Poec thats sound like damn good advice to me... gona start with my poecies... got a nice ornata male and a young regalis female. Will be seatlrching for partners for them sometime...

And Keith im envious of your s calceatum can you share a pic?? And the klaasi is a bit expensive here as well but not that bad... a 2cm klaasi sling costs about the same here as a 4cm ornata sling if you can compare it that way...

Poec54 wants everybody to have a 500 spider collection! I think I will be good between 25-50, but I suppose thats how it starts…I got to save room and money for snakes, frogs, a few lizards, someday dogs….and a home gym, and my gun collection….I must keep this tarantula thing in check…though not sure if that is possible. So many cool species!!!

I have 28 Ts now but it seems so little... i love feeding and maintanace at night with my Ts. But it seems like its 5mins of fun and then its over (actually it takes me an hour sometimes but still feels like 5minutes)
