My tarantula has been held up for a week, I think she may be molting, but I'm not sure. She didn't eat before she holed herself in there, but then again she was never a great eater. I have a few questions: Should I mist? Or not? Also, is there a time where I should actually move the web and substrate to check on her? I know that I cannot disturb a molt, but I'm getting worried. I'm sure I'm just being paranoid. If she is molting, then what is the usual time period they're in there? Ill include some pictures of how she's holed up her cork bark. She is an Alphonopelma Chalcodes. Thanks in advance. Sorry for the huge images.

Leave her be. T's know what they're doing. She'll come out when she's ready. I'd say mist the sub just a little to be safe make sure her water dish is full. Get ready for a bold new t to walk around!

Does she have a water dish? She would like that.
