Hey Friends. :)
I got a huge female pulchra awhile back, and have had her for abut a year.
She is a good 6 inches. I checked her at Midnight and she was on her back.
I just checked on her, and it seems as though she has not made any progress.
She is still alive, her legs are moving a bit.
Anyone have an idea how long a big Grammastola girl like her can take to molt?

UPDATE: Around noon she started working the molt off. :)

That's good to hear! But for future reference some genuses, Grammostolas and Brachypelmas specifically, often take days to molt once they get older. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks! I was curious about that. I was just getting concerned, because I have a 8" female tripepii that moled 5 or 6 months ago, and she only took 7-ish hours.
The pulchra is fully out of her molt and looking great. It was actually REALLY cool. She did almost nothing (that I could see on the outside), and then she just started kicking like crazy and was completely molted 10 minutes later. :)

Lol. Dude I have failed breeding this girl 3 years in a row! Lol. Well failed is harsh, but still true! Lol
I have paid over $350 in males for her, and she never does anything for me.
Last year when I bred her (maybe around September) was the first time she was receptive though.
Of course, stupid me, will try again when she molts. Lol :)
