blue centipede!

hey there all! I live in florida, and I just caught a baby florida blue centipede that's about 1/2 inch. it may be small, but im gonna keep it.thisll be my first pede, and I have it humid with a tiny hide, but is there anything else I should know? please, if you can, tell me every detail about these. HOW humid? how often do they eat? that kind of thing. thanks, jacob

Sounds like a Scolopendra viridis , pictures would help tho. Feed them 2 times a week and keep it moist but not soaking wet. Hides are not really needed, just give it some substrate like peat moss or chemical free potting soil so it can burry itself. Also at that size use a small container. i would give it dead small crickets at that size to start with.
Don't use pinheads they seem to not be filling enough.
