I have two bettas in the same enclosure male/female combo can I add another female?

also the only place these fish poop is in the hide thing is that normal?

they leave it there like it's a litter box lol

The male and the female shouldn't be housed together all the time. They are solitary fish generally. I'd only put them together for breeding. After the act dad cares for the eggs in his bubble nest. Females can be kept in groups in a larger tank with some plants and hides.

As for the poop.../shrug. I've never had a fish poop in one spot. But I also use sponge filters with bettas.

hmmm............"litter trained" bettas,i luv it :) i keep the giant halfmoon kings(plakats),most of mine make 1 to 2 good sixed poops weekly,easy cleaning.
