So I have a hapolepelma (longipes?) sling/juvies that is exhibiting odd behavior. I had him in a small critter keeper but after delving into more reading on burrowers and the haplo genus I moved him into a home with 8-9 inches of packed moist substrate with a starter burrow a few inches deep. Now I figured he'd adopt his hole and eventually continue it. We'll quite the opposite! He decided to fill said hole in and make a small mat of web on the ground and promptly sit on it. In his KK he had a small hide which he webbed the opening to shut. So that somewhat leads to believe he's in premolt as I know it's hard to tell with ow just by looking at them. Can I expect him to molt then work on a burrow after molting?
