Cyanide Millipede?

Got this guy from a friend, and it turns out that this guy is a girl. Now, I have several babies.
The soil in its home was sterilized in an oven before it was added, and now there are little milipedes everywhere (one in the last pic on the left of the mom).

Anybody able to get this ones scientific name? Maybe some care info? Anybody interested in the babies?

Pleuroloma flavipes? It at least looks like Pleuroloma sp to me. But then again, i could be ridiculously wrong..

I'd totally like to own one of these some day.. I'll have to travel up north to get the californian relatives :D

Are you sure that smaller millipede is the same species? it looks a lot like an adult of the little black kind I find around my house.
