ID please? BIG wolf spider

I found this baby while working on a job out in northern Oklahoma. "She"? is about 3.5"
Q is, what ssp is she?

NIce... I have no idea what SP it is as we dont get specimens like that native to the UK sadly. Are you going to keep him/her? Its a nice looking spider, and hopefully you will get an answer soon :)

A ventral shot is needed for accurate identification, im unable to ID this wolf. the face does look like a hogna sp though.

Ok. I will get one tomorrow. But I am not picking this one up :p. Yes. I plan on keeping him/her.

I also found this a few month ago as well. Its smaller, around 2", but is still interesting.

Both appear to be the same species. They are basically harmless to humans, just delivering a moderately painful nip that lasts a few minutes. Their forte is overpowering their prey, not relying on venom to kill.
