Hello, first time in scorpion subforum, lol.
I believe that I've caught a gravid female Euscorpius alpha. I was in a parking lot in Tuscany, Italy, flipping rocks, when I found an ant colony. I decided to watch them for a bit, not having anything else to do, and when I got up to leave I saw a small, FAT scorpion crawl out of the nest. I was so excited, I started screaming at my sister to get me a container! And here I am now, with my Euscorpius alpha sitting happily in its terrarium munching down a cricket. Anyone else have experience with these? I just love my little girl, and fingers crossed for babies!

Pics to come!

Yes, it there was a hole under the rock the led to the nursery, and it came out from there.

Nice find and can't wait for pics!

one of the species of Euscorpius I catch in Corsica is often found under the same rock as ant/termite nests, sneaky little bastards!!
