Thought this was pretty cool so I wanted to share. Also, maybe spark some discussion. I have not heard of these prior to reading this, says they are genus Thwaitesia. Has anybody kept these? Can they be kept? Anyone have additional info? Probably not much out there but maybe someone knows something...They are really fascinating, the short article claims "The scales look like solid pieces of mirror glued to the spider’s back, but they can actually change size depending on how threatened the spider feels."
