Will a ten gallon suffice for either of these species as sub adults ?

It would be fine for adults of these species. If it is a fish aquarium, be sure to fill the substrate to within 6" of the top to prevent injury from falls, because they will climb and are a little clumsy.

Indeed. Both are terrestrial and on the bulky side. So a fall could lead to some complications

Especially the pulchra, they love to climb.
