I know some spiders are able to produce multiple egg sacs with one mating (like widows and funnel weavers) but can jumping spiders do this as well? For some reason this strikes me as odd. :?
It's very likely. I haven't looked after jumping spiders before, unlike 3skulls, but I'm currently looking after a D. cupreus (a gnaphosid) which has just laid her 3rd egg sac ^_^

Thanks, guys. I was just asking, because a friend will be giving me a enormous (my eyes popped out of my head the first time I saw her LOL) P. audax. At the time of capture she was heavily gravid, and laid a sac which has since then hatched and dispersed. I was just wondering if there was any chance she might lay a second sac for me once I get her.
