I'm going to guess it was bath time and not romance as I have seen lycosids do very similar antics along with hooking each leg with the chelicerae.

You're right ... I had misted the spider very lightly just before shooting so as to get more activity than usual ... as well as hoping to keep it busy so that it would stay in one place long enough to get some footage. Failure on the second count, I think I spent most of the hour chasing it around the table in-between getting these short clips.
